The library exists from the establishment of the college from 1916. The collection of the library grew day by day. Today the collection of the library is about one lakh sixty thousand and above. It consists of books, periodicals, e-journals, e-books etc. the library has separate section for the visually challenged students.Library also has braille collection for this students. One braille periodical “Sparsdyan “is also subscribed for this students. Also the audio books collection is available for visually challenged students.

The library starts from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm. There are three issue counters in the library. Under graduate students counter, post graduate students counter and staff counter. The students have to take library card for their issue/ return of the library books. They can also get the book on their id card for reading hall.

The library has a closed access. Staff and post graduate students can go to the stack and select their book. Under graduate students can have text books on their library card.

The collection consists of the reference books, text book, competitive exam material and other recreational reading books. The reference section includes, Dictionaries, Thesarus, Encylopedia, Viswakosh etc. the languages collection includes the German Literature, French Literature, Marathi Literature, Sanskrit Literature and Hindi Literature.

The arrangements of the stack rooms are done according to Dewey Decimal Classification scheme (DDC), classification system. The library collection is automated and all the collection is available on the Web-Opac for the library users. The card catalogues too available in the library.
